I've worked across linocut relief printing, silverpoint drawing, large-format acrylic painting and caricature for the better part of my life, most of it now from a studio in Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand. Different tools, same habit of mind: an idea has to earn its way onto the block or the paper before I'll touch a blade or a brush to it.
Everything shown here is an original, made by hand, start to finish — carved, drawn or painted the slow way, on purpose. Nothing on this site has ever been generated.
